Terms of Service
All orders require a minimum payment of $100 for work to commence. You will be billed in quarterly instalments, the first payment is the initial deposit and the last instalment is due upon completion. I will contact you to let you know when payments are due. Pet Portraits will not be shipped until final payment is received.
100% Satisfaction Guaranteed
Your satisfaction is most important to me therefore, I offer 100% Satisfaction Guarantee! A work in progress page will be set up for you to view your Pet Portrait progression from initial sketch to completion. You, the client, must have full input from the beginning in order for the Satisfaction Guarantee to be honoured. I photograph the progress of the painting and post updates on the work in progress page, where, at any stage you can contact me to submit feedback, questions and request minor changes. You will receive an email indicating when an update has been posted. Once the portrait is complete, I will request final payment before the Pet Portrait is shipped to you.
If you aren’t happy with the portrait once you have received it, send the portrait back to me and you will only pay 50% of the total costs for the portrait. If you would like to make minor changes to the portrait once you receive it, you only pay for the shipping costs, both to me and from me.
I will contact you if the photographs sent are not suitable for a portrait. If you want a high quality portrait you will need to send high quality photos. If the animal is deceased, I will re-evaluate the photos and discuss any concerns I have with you. Read the FAQ page in order to see my standards of photo quality.
Gifts and Gift Certificates
Gift Certificates are available and are a great option if you would like to order a portrait as a gift to your family or friends and you may not be certain of what picture they would like. I recommend purchasing a Gift Certificate if there is any uncertainty as to what the recipient may favour for a portrait.
Delivery times may vary due to demand. If your painting is time sensitive, I recommend contacting me to confirm if your due date can be met. All portraits are painted in the order they are received. If your due date can not be met, a Gift Certificate is a wonderful alternative.
The prices on the web site order page does not include frames. At this time framing options are not available. All painting on stretched canvas are finished so that they may be displayed without framing, if that is your preference.
I treat your privacy with the same discretion and care that I would expect mine to be treated with by any business. Your personal information will never leave my website or be shared with others. Your name may appear on the testimonial page with your consent, regarding comments you make on the artwork. You may also request that your testimonial be posted with an alias if you do not want your name used.
Any artwork created by me is commissioned for personal use only and is not to be used for financial gain. I own the reproduction rights and copyright on all my artwork. Should you wish to reproduce the painting, an extra fee may apply which is not included on the website. Please contact me for further information.
Shipping of the artwork is handled by courier - Fed Ex or UPS. I pack all my portraits as recommended by experts. If, in the unlikely event, your portrait is damaged when it arrives to your address you will get your money back. I always insure the shipments for your protection.
Damage in Transit
If the portrait has been damaged in transit, I will require photographs of the damages from you. Once I receive the pictures we can arrange what will be done. You will be able to get your money back or I can create a new portrait for you.
I use Paypal as the online payment provider. It is the safest and easiest way of purchasing. Should you desire payment by other means, please contact me to arrange alternate payment methods.
